Earlier this year, each received a mailing from Doctors for Disaster Preparedness. AtE readers also received mailings from these two volunteer, non-profit organizations in the years prior to Petr Beckmann's death. Both are examples of accomplishments by productive individuals entirely without tax-financed support.
