FOR THE CREEPS

John Fuller, the imaginative science-fiction writer who brought you We Almost Lost Detroit, has given birth to another tome for crippled intellects. The Ghost of Flight 401 makes money from the 101 lives lost in a 1972 jet liner crash in Florida by creepy descriptions of alleged posthumous apparitions of some of the victims.

"This spine-tingling book," says the blurb, "tells the results of his extensive research and of how Fuller made apparent contact with the dead flight engineer himse1f" As in Detroit, Fuller tries to pass off his hallucinations as true events; it remains to be seen whether he will again be assisted in this endeavor by the New York Times, Readers Digest, National Enquirer, and the other tabloids, as he was in his previous venture.

We Nowhere Near Lost Detroit is a review of Fuller's earlier fantasy by Dr. D.C. Williams, a nuclear scientist, written shortly after it was published. It is available to AtE readers from Dr.D.C. Williams, 1300 Espanola N.E., Albuquerque, NM 87110.
