The following will help you write letters to the editor of your local paper (or radio-TV channel) so that not a single anti-energy, anti-technology superstition goes unanswered:
1) Scientists for Accuracy in Media, 1034 LaBrea, Pocatello, ID 83201;
2) Committee for Scientific Truth in the Public Interest, 1511 Denniston Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15217;
3) Committee for Science in the Public Interest, Box 480, La Jolla, CA 92038;
4) Montana Energy Education Council, Box 2693, Great Falls, Montana 59403.
That's a good start, but more scientists are needed to form committees in every state. Scientists, what is more deserving of your time than to defend science against superstition?
