TWO SOLAR JOKES

On the right is a cartoon of a solar wristwatch user from the Detroit Free Press. Solar wristwatches do exist, but their consumption of less than a milliwatt is supplied by tiny collectors.

Below is an advertisement by McDonnell Douglas showing the 10 MW Solar One plant. Such a plant does exist, but its cost of $140,000,000 is paid by the taxpayer.

Perhaps the guy on the right is really carrying the solar tax burden.
