We were unable to find either the amount or the sources of Pan Heuristic's funds, but here are the budgets of some other paupers who selflessly help the poor by making sure they can ride their horses in the National Parks, sail their yachts without seeing oil rigs, and heat their swimming pools with solar installations unmenaced by clean, cheap electricity (1982 listings):
