THAT'S THE WAY

[Sent to 5 on the Board of Sponsors] December 16,1988 While in San Francisco attending the American Soc. of Anes-thesiologists, I stopped by the Physicians for Social Responsibility booth and picked up some literature.

What I read in the reprints from the New England J. of Medicine disturbed me, so I went back and re-read Doctors against Health (1) to see if my memory had failed. A copy is enclosed.

Then I was really perplexed when I saw your name listed on the Board of Sponsors along with Helen Caldicott, Phil Lee, and Ber-nie Lown.

Please set me straight.

Sincerely,

Curtis W. Caine, M.D., Jackson, MS 39206
